Surfpaints acrylic markers can be used on ceramics and become waterproof once dry. To make your designs more durable and dishwasher-safe, you can oven-bake your ceramic piece after painting. Here’s how:

1. Let the paint dry completely (at least 24 hours).
2. Place your painted ceramic item in a cold oven to avoid cracking from sudden temperature changes.
3. Set the oven to 150°C (300°F) and bake for 30 minutes.
4. Turn off the oven and let the item cool completely inside before removing it.

This process helps to heat-set the paint, making your design more resistant to washing. For extra durability, you may also apply a dishwasher-safe sealant after baking.
